Not only can you use it to search for your favorite games but you can also play them directly online without having to install anything. The results to your search for racing games for free will include all types of interesting free games – free car racing games, free boat racing games, free truck racing games, free dirt bike racing games, free street racing games and many more. Free street racing games are particularly appealing to most players because they permit the player to perform car tricks that defy the laws of physics without risking any injury.

Free street racing games like Tokyo Xtreme Racer, Speed Devils, and Street Racers Syndicate can be played online with your friends or downloaded to your computer. Midnight Club Street Racing is a racing game that takes the player to the world of midnight street racing in New York and London. The player begins the game with a rather slow vehicle and has to defeat other drivers in different races to gain access to better, faster cars. Midnight Club II, a sequel to Midnight Club Street racing, moves the races to Tokyo, Paris and Los Angeles and features vehicles that resemble real life cars: the Jersey XS which is modeled after the Dodge Viper, the Victory which is modeled after the Aston Martin Vanquish and the Veloci which is created after the Saleen S7.

Other free street racing games like Street Racing syndicate (SRS) released in 2004 by Namco, make safety a part of the player’s goal and a part of his efforts in winning the game. Unlike it is the case with other free street racing games with Street Racers Syndicate speed is not everything, you also have to drive safely or else you may be spending all your winnings from the previous race repairing your car and losing the game. Another difference from other racing games is that the player’s most important goal is to gain the affection of different females from the city. In this game you advance to the next level of difficulty when you gain the respect of a female who shows you the way to the next race.

If you want to play racing games for free start a search for free racing games on the Internet and choose your favorite.

The aftermarket wholesale wheel market has recently gained momentum and is destined to become another automotive industry success story. Car enthusiasts are flocking to buy custom wheels as they not only want lighter and prettier alternatives but also demand a high performing product that is able to provide ultimate handling and driving experience. Gone are the days when customized wheels were sold at a premium to only those who could afford high price tag. Now, globalization has allowed manufacturers to design more efficient tires which can be mass marketed to an average racing fan. This means that the aurora of luxury, sportiness and wealth can be tailored to meet the tastes of everyday car lover.

The Charm of Custom Wheels

Need for custom wheels was readily felt in the early years of car manufacturing when consumers realized that investment in automobile is a huge undertaking. To them, it was logical to look after their investment as they would care for any other luxury item. This idea yielded the concept of custom wheels that would modify or replace the vehicle manufacturer standard. Historically, these wheels were expansive to produce and were not offered as a standard package to a new car buyer. Often times, the buyer was enticed to buy it as an add-on accessory, a practice that continues to this day. Fortunately, racing car fans soon found out that buying these modified wheels from a reputable aftermarket wholesale wheel supplier greatly reduces cost in comparison to what car agents offer.

These cost savings are further amplified by the fact that wholesalers effectively increase the value by providing a greater variety of custom wheels to choose from. Such variations are needed because competition based customers want stronger wheels, able to withstand the wear and tear of an otherwise rough terrain. Alternatively, appearance oriented car owner require larger and distinctively designed custom wheels which should stands out in the crowd. Therefore, these customized wheels have become an icon in hip hop and sports culture, inspiring the launch of such devoted publications as DUB magazine.

Categories of Aftermarket Custom Wheels

Custom wheels can actually be classified into six broad categories but the most desirable characteristic of a wheel will differ by the needs of its owner.

1. Automobile Racing

In automobile racing, the weight of the wheel in ratio to car size is of utmost importance as most tracks consist of numerous sharp turns requiring automobiles to optimize corner weights. Still, it does not mean that weight is the only significant aspect for racing cars.

2. Drag Racing

Another category is drag racing where drivers rely on a wider base to accommodate traction. Nowadays, drag racing is not just restricted to main events but continues to thrive legally and illegally. Young groups of automobile fanatics converge on their favorite hideouts to try techniques that they would never be able to carry out in a formal setting. Due to a shorter track, such clandestine events require that participating cars not only posses the qualities of speed but also constitute all the mechanics of drag racing.

3. Rally
Perhaps one of the most well known categories of car racing is Rally. The main emphasis of a Rally driver is on the strength of its wheels. Due to unpaved conditions, rally wheels are made from a heavy duty metal base. In this sport, a good wheel can be the difference between finishing first or last. It is necessary that participants make careful decision between speed, stability and control. Amid the growing popularity of amateur rallies and accompanying lucrative prizes, it is recommended that rally drivers consult an expert wheel supplier to determine the most feasible wheel type.

4. Touring Cars
Touring car racing can be classified as another category. This classification is the fastest growing classification as it allows heavily modified street cars to compete. The width and weight are the primary factors contributing to a performance of a touring car. Once famous in Europe, modified racing car owners love this unique concept as it may be the fastest lane to fame and glory.

5. Street Driving (Cruising)
Unlike racing, Street driving allows anyone and everyone to showcase their cars. Here, the primary concern is the visual appeal. Americans are more accustomed to cruising strips where hundreds of cars congregate in a bumper to bumper parade displaying their visual appeal to the general Public. McHenry Avenue in Modesto, California is one of the most popular cruising strips made popular by the film, American Graffiti. In earlier decades, street driving in Woodward Avenue, Detroit reached its peak in 1960’s when magazines like Car & Driver, Motor Trend and CBS World News would cover those events. To many, street driving events or cruising nights are one of the best events to see and be seen. Large events such as these can attract one Million viewers with 40000 cars comprising special interest, collector, custom, street rods and muscle cars. Apart from the overall beauty, custom wheels are one of the cheapest and among the most attractive feature of this car parade.

6. Multi-Purpose
A sixth and somewhat vague category for the uses of custom wheels is multi-purpose. Fervent custom car designers, who are well known among their community circles, keep multiple sets of wheel which define strength, visual appeal, width and weight. As a result, they proceed to change them according to the requirements of an event.

Alloy Wheels

Actually, a true car enthusiast never misses an opportunity to buy alloy or chrome wheels. It will not be an oversimplification to suggest that most major wheel wholesalers specifically market these wheels that provide significant advantage over an average steel wheel. The major benefit of alloy wheels is that they are typically light weight but impart superior strength. Moreover, these wheels are better conductor of heat providing an improved cosmetic appearance. Formula One race car drivers use these wheel types as it allows better suspension for vehicle so that a racing car may follow the terrain closely with a firmer grip.

It should be noticed that steel wheels require wheel covers and hub caps due to the corrosive nature of the steel. On the other hand, alloy wheels are corrosion resistant with a bare metal finish which allows for attractive design finish. In light of increasing theft of wheel covers and hub caps of steel wheels, the overall higher price of an alloy wheel is fully justified. Furthermore, a severally damaged alloy or chrome wheel can be repaired like new, saving additional dollars in the long run. Basically, alloy wheels are manufactured in two classes, cast and forged. Wholesalers mostly keep inventory of cast wheels but consumers may also come across forged alloy wheels from companies that solely rely on these such as Vellano, Weld and DONZ brands.

Admirers of Plus Size alloy wheels who crave for muscle cars and rough terrain should keep in mind that like standard wheels, these tires come with their own benefits and disadvantages. Probably, the greatest advantage lies in the fact that it substantially increases the handling of an automobile by keeping the tire tread square to the road. Therefore, drivers of Plus Size custom wheels feel the thrill of improved drivability, instantaneously. On the other hand, improper size will make tire inches lighter than wheel inches, making the vehicle act erratically. Thus, it is recommended to consult a wheel specialist before mounting these kinds of large wheels.

The Popular Brands

Currently, the market is fraught with reputable aftermarket wheel brands therefore buyers should do considerable research before embarking on a journey to buy custom wheels. Contrary to popular belief, a wholesale wheel supplier expert can provide valuable advice instead of usual marketing rhetoric. If confused, shopping for a well known brand will ensure safety and value for money. Some of the popular brands are Akuza, MSR Wheels, Incubus, Viscera, MHT, Cattivo, Ballistic, Boss Wheels, Menzari, Devino, Antera, Marchesini, ION, Sparco, Speedline, TeamDynamics, NAD Wheels, Lexani, R2 Wheels, DUB, Lowenhart, DONZ, Rennen, Rial, Sacchi, Orobica Line, DIP, M.B Italia, Toora, G.M.P Italia, Shooz, Vellano, MOZ, Watanabe, SSR Wheels, Wolfhart, Wolfrace, Panther Wheel, American Racing Wheels, Motegi Racing Performance Wheels, Weld Racing, BBS Wheels, CMS, 5Zigen, Volk Racing, Konig Wheels and Rimstock.

Although not all brands are mentioned here but one should be circumspect before buying anything outside of these popular makes. The appropriate wheel size on a car or truck will depend on a number of factors but usually custom wheels range from 16 to 30 inches in diameter. Apart from its size, a good aftermarket wheel dealer should offer different color wheels. These black, green, red and blue colors are considered a vital component of a trophy car. The average range of these wheels is below $500 but special category wheels may demand a higher price reaching more than thousand dollars.

In wheel manufacturing industry, Lexani is akin to Rolls Royce. These wheels are known for their world class finish and almost always sell for more than $500. Despite such high cost, users have become addicted to its style and quality finishes which continues to inspire a generation. Below are the profiles of some well known companies that excel in manufacturing top quality custom wheels:

SACCHI

The manufacturer is proud to distinguish itself solely on reputation for excellence.

SHOOZ

The Company offers some of the most eye catching custom wheels in the industry. A fantastic assortment of gold, silver and black wheels are mostly offered with a complete package saving plenty of cost in accessories.

Buying Custom Wheels

Before buying custom wheels, it is important to keep few things in mind. Concerning appearance, a wheel should always add style to your vehicle instead of looking a separate part of your car. In contrast, if speed is the sole purpose then alloy wheels may be a more suitable choice than chrome due to their lighter weight. Racing car fans should buy large rims to give a natural sporty look. Make sure that these large wheels fit the bolt pattern of the vehicle which otherwise affects handling. Under these circumstances, a salesperson can also act as a good adviser.

In order to deal with pricing issues, it is vital to understand that most brick and mortar physical storefronts will usually charge a higher price for same tires sold at online stores. The price difference is due to warehousing and rental costs of keeping the place. Most savvy aftermarket wheel buyers select a tire from online store and then proceed to a physical store to check it first hand. Once satisfied, these buyers turn towards the internet to get a bargain. There is nothing wrong with buying from a reputable online aftermarket wheel supplier as most companies have online stores acting as a major source of their marketing income.

The company had been inspired by touring cars for years and in 1923 the company introduced two modified versions of its cars in the French Grand Prix. Over the years the quality of the cars grew, but it wasn’t until David Brown took over the company in 1947 when the company seriously got into the field of auto racing.

Over the years there were many Aston Martin cars used in auto racing events. The biggest success for the company in its early years of racing was in 1959 when a DBR1 won the Le Mans 24 Hours endurance race and the World Sports Car Championship title.

Although a number of cars were used in racing during the twentieth century it wasn’t until 2004 that Aston Martin truly got back into the field of racing when it partnered with Prodrive to create the DBR9. This is a racing version of the company’s DB9 that featured a 6.0L V12 engine and a flat bottom for aerodynamic purposes. Carbon fibre materials are also used to help with reduce the car’s weight.

In recent years Aston Martin has also returned to endurance racing. This is where cars typically compete with teams of drivers in races that last about twelve to twenty-four hours. In 2007 Aston Martin brought a DBR9 to the Le Mans 24 Hours race and won in the GT1 class. The 009 DBR9, which is a variant of the vehicle with fuel economy in mind, won in the GT1 class in the 2008 Le Mans race.

Aston Martin is the only company in auto racing that has a car in all GT levels. The DBR9 is used in the GT1 class. The GT2 class features the Vantage GT2, the GT3 level has the DBRS9 and the GT4 class has the Vantage GT4. These are all variants of common Aston Martin cars.

The GT is a common term that is mentioned in the realms of racing. GT stands for Gran Turismo or Grand Touring. GT sports car racing has a long history, and its popularity has grown in recent years. Racing car designs are based on standard two-seater and coupe road models and sometimes these models drive on the public roads to get to different race venues.. But, after some significant re-working and the introduction of high performance modifications, the cars are capable of racing over long distances; anywhere between 200 and 3000 miles.

Motorcycles have become increasingly popular amongst Americans, particularly the younger generations. While many people enjoy large cruising bikes, others prefer sport and dirt bikes. Over the past few years, motorcycle racing has been gaining steam and has become all the rage. Pro riders are achieving celebrity status all across the globe and becoming household names. If you’re new to motorcycle racing and looking to learn a little bit about the sport, here is a quick that will get you on your way to becoming an aficionado.

There are two major types of motorcycle racing. One of the most popular is street racing, which includes professional series such as the Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix and the Superbike World Championship. The other type of racing is an off road variant that includes the Motocross World Championship and the AMA Motocross Championship.

Street racing is typically held on closed tracks that may also be used for car racing as well. In the Grand Prix series, bikes are typically designed exclusively for racing and are not street legal vehicles. These motorcycles are not available to the general public and are entirely exclusive to the racing circuit. This is comparable to the Formula 1 car racing series. The Superbike circuit hosts motorcycles that are modified versions of production models available to the public.

In both types of street racing, riders compete in time trials on flat road courses in an attempt to qualify for the main event. There are different classes based upon the engine configurations of the motorcycles. One of the major drawbacks to this type of racing is that most races cannot be conducted during any adverse weather conditions such as rain. The high speeds and tire compositions are unsafe on a slick or wet track and can be dangerous to riders.

The other popular type of racing is off road motocross. In these events, riders race modified dirt bikes on closed courses that are built to simulate all terrain conditions. It is very common for a number of different features to be placed all around the track, including ramps, hills, berms, and moguls. All of the courses are typically composed entirely of dirt. Riders compete in time trials in order to qualify for the main race. During races, riders are often speeding around the track and flying through the air in very close quarters. Studies have shown that motocross riders must be in peak physical condition due to the stresses the rough terrain can put on the body.

One of the most important part of a car is the tires, and if you need quality tires, check out Vredestein tires by DFW Performance Tires. If you’re in the Dallas or Fort Worth metro, order from our website for Dallas tires.

What started out as a way for airmen in the 1950s to pass the time has turned into a popular worldwide sport for many. Go carts have quickly become a phenomenon all over the globe. With most historians giving Art Ingels the credit for inventing the go cart, he built his very first one back in 1956. But that first go cart was nothing compared to the models we have today. Newer more modern go carts can now travel 160 mph or faster. Now that’s amazing.

This miniature Formula One racing machine is referred to by a lot of names including go carts, go karts, go-carts, shifter carts, gocarts, gokarts, enduro carts, and a number of other ways. But one thing is for sure, getting behind the wheel of one of them is exciting. Go carts are related to open-wheel Formula One or Indy Car racing. If you’ve ever wanted to know what it feels like to race a Formula 1 or Indy Car, while still being as safe as possible, go carts would be your best bet. And that’s probably what Michael Schumacher, Sarah Fisher, Darrell Waltrip, Tony Stewart and Kyle Petty all thought when they were kids. They all started their racing careers in go carts. With speeds as high as 160 mph these little machines can travel as fast as the professional race car drivers do on many of their tracks.

There are many different options available today for people that want an exciting vehicle to drive. There are ATVs, dirt bikes, scooters, mopeds, go peds, mini bikes and motorcycles. But go carts are the closest thing you will find to the thrill of Formula 1, NASCAR or Indy Car racing. They are small open-wheeled vehicles with 4 wheels and no suspension. Instead of a suspension they rely on chassis flex. They are basically a smaller version of the professional open wheel race cars.

Many hopefuls who dream of one day racing at the pro level will get their start in go carting. Go carts can be a stepping stone to professional Formula One or Indy Car racing. The reason is that there are many different classes in go carting. No matter what level of experience you have there is a class for you. And as you improve you can move up to increasingly higher classes with greater competition. If you can get to the top in a go cart you may have what it takes for Formula 1 or Indy.

Professional racing is a very expensive sport. But with go carts drivers can get involved on a shoestring budget. It’s a cheaper way to get involved with racing. Find out if you have what it takes without breaking the bank to do it.

But go carting is not only for the professionally-minded drivers. Go carts are usually driven by non-professionals, people just like you or me, out for a good time and a lot of excitement. Because anyone can drive one, regardless of their experience level, go carts have become extremely popular all over the world. They can be found in just about every large city either in family fun centers or other venues.

A go cart is made up of a chassis, motor, transmission, seat and 4 tires and a few other odds and ends. As mentioned earlier they have no suspension. The chassis must provide the stiffness and also enough flexibility to allow the cart to grip the road well on the straightaways as well as in the turns. The chassis can be either open or caged. The caged chassis allows protection for the driver in the event of a rollover while the open chassis does not. The cage performs a similar function as does a roll bar.

Engines used in carting are typically either 2-stroke or 4-stroke. They are made by manufacturers such as Honda or Briggs and Stratton among others. You would think that the 4-stroke engines would be more powerful than the 2-stroke engines, but that’s not usually the case.

If you have ever wondered how fast go carts can travel you will be amazed at the top speeds. Sprint carts can usually get up to about 60 mph while the more powerful enduro carts can reach a top speed of about 90 mph. And if that’s not fast enough for you how about the shifter karts that reach top speeds of 160 mph or more. You heard right, that is not a misprint and these are certainly not toys. Transmissions differ from cart to cart, but the shifter carts use a manual transmission with a clutch that allows the driver to get the most out of the motor.

It seems as though every part of the go cart has become a separate entity, a specialized piece of equipment with different options available to the purchaser. And with regard to the tires they are certainly no exception. In dry weather slicks are used. They are smooth tires that grip the road well. And as they heat up while driving they get even better traction. During wet weather tires with treads are needed. These are called rain tires. And of course, how could any respectable driver racing on ice do without specialized spiked tires? That’s correct, there are even go cart races on ice in some parts of the world.

With the many different levels available for drivers today anyone can race at a comfortable level. And the sky is the limit to a talented driver. With a lot of practice, a bunch of talent and a little luck you might find yourself racing alongside Tony Stewart someday. It’s certainly possible.

All those who engage in car racing, heck, all those who drive know the crucialness of a clean engine. In my case, a clean racing engine engine is synonymous to a flawless and speedy run. Over the years, I have learned through my dad, my uncle, my friends and my racing buddies ways on how to keep my racing car’s engine clean.

You may wonder that my dad did give some pointers considering he hates when I race. Well, I got it the old fashion way, I told it was for homework. Sounds juvenile and underrated, but it worked. And he did give me my first motor cycle. But then, that’s another story.

Engines of racing cars have some major differences compared to normal cars. One of the cutting edge parts of a topnotch racing car’s engine is the Tracecut software, that allows the duplication of ideal port and combustion chamber designs and also generates NC code which is needed to machine the profiles in aluminum heads. Well, I want to talk English here so let’s leave that part for my next post.

As I’ve said, I have collected through the years a number of how-to’s when it comes racing car engine maintenance. But mind you, maintaining a racing car is very costly. Owning a racing car is an investment. You’ve got to put your heart and soul into it, and your bank account as well. If you want to be a professional car racer, meaning you want to race in Daytona, then be prepared to write a huge amount in your checking account.

Practical tips

The advise that I’ll be giving is for your day-to-day living with your racing car. Have come up practical how to’s on maintaining your racing car’s engine right in your own garage.

1. Do a daily check of your tires.

2. Make sure your steering and front suspension are appropriately aligned.

3. Apply the thinnest viscocity recommended by your car manufacturer.

4. Always keep your fuel and air filtr free of dust.

5. Use the appropriate fuel for your car. Gas is 3 dollars a gallon. There.

6. Don’t be easily fooled by tv car ads selling “must-haves”. Consult with pros.

7. Don’t warm up your car more than the time it should be done. Just stick to the clock. Excess is not good.

8. Start your day with a checkup

Do these ways possibly at the start of the day. That way, if you see any striking inconsistencies, you have the whole day to guard it at the mechanics. The ways don’t require any spending but a great deal of observation and feeling your car.

Telling from experience

Not trying to play the racing car specialist here. As you have seen, these are practical and simple ways to keep your racing car engine clean. The experts definitely have more sophisticated ways to maintain racing cars and some are kept within their walls. At the end of the day, keeping it clean matter the most. I know we all treat our wheels like they’re alive and kicking. Well, they actually are. For those who race, be it professionally or just for the passion, our racing cars are the extension of ourselves. And a clean racing car engine is the reflection of what we feel and think and act upon.

Though his life seem figured out and grounded as a neurosurgeon, Vastine has one interesting and risky hobby, motor and car racing. It is only in racing racing blog that he can openly share how he sneaks out to race in the mountains of Chengdu and all things imaginable and unimaginable about his motor and car racing.

But when engines start to rev and the flag waver takes their marks, only one thing radiates from the street car racing enthusiast: pure exhilaration.

Street car racing is irrefutably gaining popularity as a sport; and while it takes its roots from a simpler mode of automobile racing which began in France during the late nineteenth century, it has evolved into a prevalent pastime in countries across the world. The United States, Australia, Brazil, Japan and much of Europe – among countless others – currently rank street car racing as a highly competitive sport.

Traditionally a domain of large, American cars with big block high capacity engines, street car racing on proper race tracks, now thrives with various types of vehicles contending. Recent trends have been towards cars of a lighter frame and hence, greater ‘moveability’. That being said, the sport of street racing has taken many forms. Recent films like ‘The Fast And The Furious’ and ‘Initial D’ have publicised the thrill of ‘drifting’, while drag racing still remains the predominant form of street car racing.

In drag racing, participants start the race from either a ‘dig’ or a ‘roll’ – the first method involving a stationary bumper-to-bumper drag race line up, while the second involves an initial ‘moving’ lineup at about 50 mph. Either way, drag-racing vehicles range from everyday cars to custom ‘dragsters’ built specifically for the purpose of accelerating as fast as mechanically possible.

Different people take an interest in street car racing for many different reasons: some are fascinated by the looks or construction of the vehicles and the motors themselves, while others simply love the thrill of racing, either as a participant or a spectator. Whatever the motives, the street car racing community is a large one – and one which seems destined to grow.

While street racing is largely illegal in most parts of the world today, there are many legitimate motoring events around the world that provide modified street cars or standard road going production cars the opportunity to race against one another or against the clock in well organized events on specifically designed race tracks and which ensure all safety precautions are maintained and appropriate safe racing practices applied.

When it comes to accessing legitimate information on street car racing, today’s motoring enthusiasts have countless resources to turn to. Dotted around the internet there are various online motoring forums [http://www.motoraddicts.com] which function solely to cater for the motoring and street car racing community by indulging and informing this growing group of petrol heads with a variety of interesting features, from blogs and photos to news and information on upcoming events and appropriate racing environments. Information is also easily available regarding all track legal racing and motor clubs in local areas. True motor aficionados can also find information on the technical specifications of cars such as drivability, fuel-economy, on-track performance, engineering or frame design by consulting with other online specialists. With so many different online motoring groups catering for general as well as specific niche subjects, current car enthusiasts are able to connect with other like minded fans that are just as passionate about lean, mean motor vehicles as themselves.

So anyone tempted to get an eyeful of remarkably built vehicles or to experience the sheer thrill of speed and competition by ripping down the drag strip, the street car racing scene is sure to deliver; after all, when the flag comes into sight and the engine begins to rev, there’s no looking back; in fact, there is only one way to go; foot to the floor, full speed ahead.
